Department Supervisor

Full Time
Currently, we are looking for a Department Supervisor in our South Surrey facility. The successful candidate will be tasked with motivating a team of production workers and consistently achieving a level of quality and efficiency consistent with the Sonax brand and the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily leadership and support to the Team Members
- Work toward improving efficiencies
- Over see quality of product produced
- Trouble shoot issues that may arise
- Assist other dept. Supervisors as necessary
- Assists in the planning of the production schedule as needed
- Lead departments by example in the production process
Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing processes and management
- Experience in a team lead/supervisory role
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be analytical minded (problem solving)
- Show initiative and work independently without direct supervision
- Thrive in a very fast paced environment

Maintenance Mechanic

Full Time
At the moment, the Sonax team is looking for a full time Maintenance Mechanic for our highly automated west coast/Lower Mainland facility.
The successful candidate will have completed a trade/vocational school accreditation or relevant post-secondary or technological school program
3-5 Years experience and Industrial Mechanic or Electronics technologist Certification is preferred; superior communication skills and proficiency speaking and writing English is a must.
This is a key role in our organization and its primary responsibilities will include assisting with assembling, installing, and preventive maintenance of CNC machinery and equipment, including start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting and testing.
